Red Hook Floodplain Planning and Design

These images and plans were produced for the Summer 2020 LA Design Studio NYC (LA7005), which focused on floodplain planning and design in the neighborhood of Red Hook, in Brooklyn, NY. My goals for this project were to implement flood mitigation and control measures and adapt the community to sea level rise, expand pedestrian access to the waterfront, alleviate contamination of existing green space, and increase Red Hook's resiliency and functionality for both people and ecological systems.
